Search Timeout

If a server takes too long to start returning search results, RETS Connector aborts the search. You can adjust the timeout setting for each search in a task; it will apply to each part of the search (e.g., data, media).

The timeout applies to intervals when the server is NOT sending data. If the server is continuously streaming a large amount of data, the download may take longer than the specified timeout without aborting.

u    To adjust the timeout setting for a search:

1.       Click a task in the main window to select it.

2.       Click the Modify Task button.

3.       Click the General tab.

4.       From the General tab, click a search name to select it.

5.       Type the new timeout setting in the HTTP Timeout (seconds) text box.
